Suffering from declining market share, Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking to make a turnaround through branding and marketing. Financial and quality problems at Mitsubishi's parent company make the job harder. Finbarr J. O'Neill, renowned for his turnaround of Hyundai, was hired last fall and has launched new advertising and warranty offers, emphasizing the performance of Mitsubishi's cars.
