Counterfeit bonds with a total face value of $25-billion (U.S.) were seized from crimminals in Toronto, thanks to the keen observations of bankers from an undisclosed financial institution. The investigation and arrests were performed by the Royal Canadia Mounted Police and the U.S. Secret Service.

CRTC rules against Shaw
Article Abstract:
Shaw Communications Inc. has been found guilty by a Canadian regulator of overcharging telephone firms in Saskatchewan and Manitoba for providing its pay-per-view television service. The regulator said that Shaw must offer telephone firms the same deal that it gives to other customers.
