Exchange Said To Want Move On Grasso Pay

The new board of the New York Stock Exchange thinks it is appropriate for Atty. Gen. Eliot Spitzer and the SEC to investigate the possibility of legal action against former board members and chairman Richard A. Grasso for the $188 million compensation package they gave him by sidestepping their fiduciary duties. The new board has asked Grasso to return $150 million if he wants to avoid a lawsuit.
