Nissan Canada Inc. posted a 7-per-cent sales gain in Canada in 2003 by introducing new vehicles and redesigning existing vehicles. X-trail, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) to be introduced by Nissan in the Canadian International Auto Show, would compete against the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and others in the compact SUV segment.
