No earnings, debatable prospects: a new I.P.O. with a 90's feel

Loudcloud Inc. is expected to have one of the most closely watched I.P.O.s due to its famous CEO, Marc Andreessen, among other things. Loudcloud has Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley jointly underwritting the software concern's public offering as well as huge investors like Benchmark Capital and Michael Ovitz, the famous Hollywood agent. Also, the software that Loudcloud promises, a product that ould build and automate corporate Internet systems, is sure to threaten areas controlled by I.B.M. and Electronic Data Sytems.
