Nortel posts first profit since 1999

Lynton Wilson, the chairman of Nortel Networks Corp., said that the telecommunications equipment manufacturer has returned to profitability after a long period of lagging sales. Nortel, which is led by chief exeutive officer and president Frank Dunn, reported $54 million in first quarter profits.
