Nortel sees $2.8-trillion net Economy

Brampton, Ont.-based Nortel Networks Corp. expects the worldwide Internet economy to expand to $2.8 trillion by 2003. Nortel, which predicts in the study that the global Internet economy will achieve an annual increase 56% over the next four years, issued the report at the World Economic Forum.
