Once again, Magna faces a buyout battle

A major holder of Tesma International Incorporation shares opposed the buyout of the company's minority shareholders by parent Magna International Incorporation claiming that the transmission and engine parts maker is worth more money than Magna is offering. James Cole, a senior vice-president and portfolio manager at mutual fund giant AIC International Services Inc. is trying to rally other minority shareholders to vote against the offer either before the scheduled shareholder's meeting on February 2005 or at the meeting.
