Ontario economy to shrink: forecast

A new report from Standard and Poor's has revealed that the province of Ontario's economy is expected to decline by about 25 percent. The report, which also predicted that Ontario's gross domestic product will increase by 2% in real terms in 2001, partly attributed the poor economic figures to major cuts in motor vehicle production.
