Corporate Canada takes to Palm reading

Handheld computers are becoming popular among business people in Canada, with the sales of the Palm computer and its clones projected to jump nearly 70% in 2000. According to Palm Inc. (Santa Clara, CA), the maker of the device, four out of the 10 sales of Palm handheld devices are to companies buying them for their employees. The device has captured well over 80% of the handheld market in Canada. In addition, there are Palm clones or competitors such as Visor from Handspring Inc., which has more bells and whistles.
