Policy swings
Article Abstract:
Abortion policy has swung back and forth in the decade after the US Supreme Court's ruling in Casey in the year 1992. Abortion-rights supporters won significant gains after Bill Clinton's election as president in 1992, but George W. Bush reversed Clinton's pro-choice policies and in 2003 signed a 'partial-birth abortion' ban similar to bills Clinton had vetoed.
