RIM stock price slides on court's patent ruling

A patent dispute with rival Arlington, Va.-based NTP Inc. has contributed to a loss in share value for Waterloo, Ont.-based Research In Motion Ltd. RIM, which may be forced to settle its patent infringement lawsuit with NTP, has been ordered to pay $8.9 million to NTP.
