Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s sales from existing stores rose a meagre 0.7 percent in November 2004, behind more aggressive rivals such as Target Corp., Best Buy Co. and Costco Wholesale Corp. in US market, which marks the weakest sales in November in quarter-century. After dominating rural and suburban America, Wal-Mart has moved into major urban areas, which is tougher to go along.
