Scotiabank shakes up executive ranks
Article Abstract:
Bank of Nova Scotia's chairman, Peter Godsoe, has placed three men to vie for his position. The company's vice-chairmen Robert Chrisholm and Richard Waugh, who were given extra responsibilities, will now answer to President Bruce Birmingham instead of Godsoe. Either one of the three executives will replace Godsoe when he retires. Waugh will handle wealth management and the bank's international strategy, while Birmingham will handle systems and operations. Chrisholm, who is vice-chairman of branch banking and alternative delivery channels, will oversee domestic banking operations.
