Scotiabank wins decade-long legal brawl with fired manager

William Shek, the Bank of Nova Scotia has finally won the lawsuit after engaging for ten years in a legal battle with its branch manager. The branch manager, William Shek, who managed the Scotiabank branch in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, was fired in 1994 over complaints from customers regarding his drinking on the job, harassing staff, demanding secret commissions and favors from business customers.
