The election to be held in Iraq on January 30, 2005 triggered a high degree of political activism among expatriate Iraqis in Shepparton in central Victoria, Australia. As they deliberate whether to vote in the Out-of-Country Voting Program, they discuss their lives in Australia, as well as the various social and economic issues facing their home country.
