Shortage of school bus drivers shorts students
Article Abstract:
The extremely tight labor market in the US for bus drivers is causing students nationwide to lose precious school hours just waiting for buses. A number of educational institutions have even altered the beginning of morning classes so that drivers can take on extra routes. However, this is forcing students to go to school earlier or to stay later, which is wreaking havoc on working parents' schedules and raising concerns about safety.
