Stewart wins partial victory in legal battle

Martha Stewart won a partial victory in her long-running legal battle with the US government on 27th February 2004 when a federal judge indicted her with the most serious charge against her. She still faces four counts of conspiracy, obstruction and lying to federal investigators, charges that carry the threat of jail time and of fines up to $259,000.
