Suncor targets 'green' energy

Fort Macmurray, Alb.-based Suncor Energy Inc. has announced it will invest $100 million in alternative energy projects, such as solar power and windmills. Suncor Energy, which also is investing $750 million in its oil sands operations in Alberta, is led by president and chief executive officer Richard George.
