Synergy equity fund tops competition
Article Abstract:
Synergy Canadian Momentum Class emerges as the No 1 equity fund in Canada, posting a 17.4% increase for the year ended Jul 31, 1999. The company was also No 1 in 1998 when the median Canadian equity fund lost 2.6%. Most of the success of Synergy Canadian Momentum Class is attributed to its stock picker, Dave Picton, who previously headed the quantitative research at what is now called as RBC Dominion Securities.
