TSE tightens listing standards
Article Abstract:
The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) has announced new continued listing standards that will make it tougher for companies to stay listed on the exchange. Clare Gaudet, TSE's vice president of corporate finance, said as many as 100 companies may not be able to meet the requirements. Those delisted companies are likely to transfer to the Canadian Venture Exchange, a new national junior market being created by merging the Alberta Stock Exchange and the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
