A report by California's Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education, concluded that the Brooks Institute of Photography, a vocational college owned by the Career Education Corp., had given students misleading information about job availability and potential income. The report led to an drop of almost 8 percent in Career Education Corp.'s stock price.
