Bryce Courtenay's latest novel, Four Fires, will have an initial press run of 380,000 copies, according to Penguin, an amount 38 times the level needed to qualify as a best-seller in Australia. The 68-year-old author gained fame with his fictionalized autobiography, The Power of One, which has sold over 3 million copies worldwide. He now has plans for about 9 or 10 more books.
