The measure of the man
Article Abstract:
Former Australian Labor Party (ALP) leader Mark Latham's angry, vicious attack on all prominent members of the Labor Party through 'The Latham Diaries' will not cause irreparable damage to the party. In fact, the main victim of Latham's diaries is Latham himself, as in the process of self-destructing, he damaged the ALP, but not quite as badly as he had intended.

LathamEs election lurgies
Article Abstract:
Mark Latham would have to improve the way he is announcing the policy in order to win the election, otherwise one mistake of the kind he made over Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme co-payment would be enough to blow the campaign. If he tries to evade responsibility when there is bad news to be dealt with during the campaign, he would be carved up.

Boney M's battle song
Article Abstract:
Mark Latham informed during his interview with The Australian Financial Review held to mark the first anniversary of his accession to the Labor leadership that he was following Napoleon's advice in his political strategy. The Labor Party will settle down if Latham looks like a leader and knows what he is doing and where he is going.
