The road to a republic is still long and winding
Article Abstract:
There was great joy after the final vote was carried at the constitutional convention in Australia. The proposal goes to the people where it needs to win a majority of the states. Some give the convention support while others want a people's vote to select a president.

Branch stackers' days are numbered
Article Abstract:

A combination of backlash by rank-and-file Labor members and police investigations is exposing and ending the practice.
