The Air Canada acquisition of PWA Corp, the merger of Canada's two domestic airlines, has caused disappointment among PWA employees who had attempted to put together a financial plan to prevent the takeover. Money-losing PWA simply ran out of time and had to succumb to the last Air Canada offer.
