Ventra plans Ontario plant, eyes expansion in U.S., Canada
Article Abstract:
Ventra Group Inc. intends to construct a new manufacturing plant in Ontario and is looking for possible location for a new paint plant in the Southwestern Ontario, Michigan, Ohio area. The auto parts manufacturer is also planning to add a third operation in Southeast US, although the plan is only speculative. The first two new plants are propelled by increased business from major auto makers ordering Ventra's jack systems, parking brakes, hinges and plastic exterior trim parts. The Ontario plant would employ around 200 people in four to five years, while the paint plant would hire another 200 to 300 employees.
