Nortel executives get stock bonus worth millions

Brampton, Ont.-based Nortel Networks Corp. has announced that it will provide $7.7 million in stock bonuses to its top exectuives. Nortel, which is led by chief executive officer and president Frank Dunn, has struggled to restore its profitability in recent years.

Wal-Mart hails Sask. court ruling on rights in union drives: Law restricts communication

Wal-Mart Canada Corporation is hailing a Saskatchewan court decision as a welcome 'first step' in using the Charter of Rights and Freedoms to strike down Canadian labour laws that restrict the way employees communicate with their workers during union drives. As part of the legal motion, Wal-Mart had challenged the constitutionality of parts of Saskatchewan labour law.
