Warrine Mundine, an Aboriginal activist, suggested that Aborigines should take up home ownership, economic land development and profit making business as otherwise they would be condemned to live in poverty. This would ensure economic development of Aboriginal people and their need to enjoy the same freedoms and rights as every other person who lives in this world.
