Former BET exec sues firm founder
Article Abstract:
Black Entertainment Television Inc's (BET) former CFO Dwight Crawford has filed a $21-million lawsuit in Washington, DC, against the company's founder Robert Johnson. Charging he was dismissed in Jan 2000 for not cooperating, Crawford accused Johnson of financial mismanagement and fraudulent tax filings. The lawsuit further accuses Johnson of dodging withholding taxes for some production employees and providing false information about BET's $10 million investment in Urban City Foods.
