What make footballers tick
Article Abstract:
Australian football players in the 1990s are being given psychological and financial support that previous generations of footballers never received. The pressure of the game is so intense that many footballers have suffered from substance abuse and other psychological ailments, and were not educated to manage finances. Psychological and financial counselors have been hired to help athletes. The desire of team managers to locate and develop the most athletically talented young people remains as fierce as ever.

Graveyard shift
Article Abstract:
Societal progress has changed the landscapes of athletic fields in Melbourne, Australia, in the same way it has changed commercial landscapes. The ghosts of the past linger, however, on the grounds of the Western Oval, the Aden Street Oval, and the Glenferrie Oval.
