Modulation of PAI-1 and tPA activity and thrombolytic effects of corilagin
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on the thrombolytic effect of corilagin from a Chinese herbal plant, as well as its effect on carotid artery patency status. Tests carried out on rats and rabbits reveal that corilagin inhibited PAI-1 activity and increased tPA activity, and this property of corilagin is assumed to be responsible for the thrombolytic effect.

Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to investigate the effects of chronic oral administration of a daily dose of the flavonoid quercetin on systolic blood pressure (SBP) and vascular alteration in deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA)-salt hypertensive rats. Quantitative analysis of strychnine and brucine in Strychnos nux-vomica using 1H-NMR
Article Abstract:
A quantitative analysis using 1H-NMR (Q-NMR) has been developed for the determination of strychnine and brucine in Strychnos nux-vomica seeds and stems. This method has significant advantages over the conventional HPLC method, and the quantification can be directly realized and easily distinguished.
