Frederick Holborn, a Senior Adjunct Professor of American Foreign Policy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies was known as the pillar of the School due to his good judgment and vast knowledge. He was an adviser on course selection and paper writing, a guide to the literature of several academic fields and a counselor on job opportunities.

New anti-merger theories: a critique
Article Abstract:
Government regulatory agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division have developed "innovation market" and "unilateral effect" analysis to enforce merger laws. Neither of these instruments for merger analysis has theoretical support and should not be relied on in future merger investigations.

Live from Newark: The National Hip Hop Political Convention
Article Abstract:
The first National Hip Hop Political Convention held in Newark, New Jersey in June 2004 is highlighted. An eight point social justice platform formed the basis for activities and workshops during the Convention, and there was a film festival, produced by the Hip Hop Association.
