Aim at Saddam's face
Article Abstract:
In the Middle East, losing one's face is more humiliating than losing a war. Any policy by the Clinton administration regarding the Iraq conflict should provide a crippling blow to the political face of Saddam. This can be achieved by making criminals out of the people close to Saddam.

Contemporary Iraqi architecture is both a symbol of the awesome power of the government and the destruction of public spaces. In comparison, modern monuments and architectural works in the US and most of East Asia are representative of the loss of meaning and the sense of shared space.
