Bayesian inference in public administration research: substansive differences from somewhat different asumptions
Article Abstract:
A paper on the defective qualities of the standard statistical interference procedure used in public administration is presented. Therefore the usage of the Bayesian inferential process is termed as better suited for structuring scientific research into administrative questions due to two overt assumptions, flexible parametric forms, systematic inclusion of prior knowledge, and rigorous sensitivity analysis.

Symposium introduction: the current and future state of research methods in public administration
Article Abstract:
Research in public administration is being perceived to be in crisis. While strong supporters of research do exist, the methodologies used are flawed. Therefore an analysis of the current state of affairs looking at some critical issues, as well as offering new solutions and new methodological approaches are proposed to improve research in public administration.
