Race against time
Article Abstract:
Hundreds of thousands Cambodians were forcibly removed to the countryside from towns and cities between 1975 and 1979 as part of a massive agricultural plan to transform it into a classless socialist society. The challenge for the government is to seize this opportunity to break with past and usher in a new era of accountability, while finally taken a tangible stop towards helping restore some measure of dignity to the victims.

Genocide and Darfur: Humanity's outer limit
Article Abstract:
The varying definitions of genocide causes problems as the popular and legal meaning do not match exactly and the legal term has been stretched by some courts to fit its rhetorical use better and the consequence is a complex and uncertain law. The definition of genocide as the destruction of a nation or ethnic group indicates a lack of precedent, suggesting that genocide offered some sort of outer limit to inhumanity.
