Nuclear power and EU enlargement: the case of Temelin

The limits of existing environmental policy among members of European Union (EU) are illustrated by the case of Temelin nuclear power plant near Czech-Austria border. This analysis highlights EU's unusual role as moderator in a bilateral dispute between a member and non-member state.
