Article Abstract:
India and Pakistan's fragile relations have worsened due to armed conflict in the disputed region of Kashmir. In May 1999 Pakistan's guest militants began crossing the border into India, provoking the Indian air force to launch strikes against the infiltrators. However, Pakistan suffers from immense political and economic problems, and may not be able to control the actions of the militants.

Article Abstract:
The assassination of Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar, might lead Sri Lanka's fragile peace process to be in trouble. The government refused to accept the proposed arrangement for an interim government in the north and east but the situation is completely changed with the first real spilt in a previously united Tamil cause.
