Objectification
Article Abstract:
The objectification of women is criticized by feminists as a dehumanizing problem in women's lives. It is argued that objectification is a substantial part of sexual life, but objectification means converting into a thing that which is not really a thing. It depends on the social context in which the act of objectification takes place. Some cases of objectification are morally harmful while some others are harmless and sometimes even pleasant. The idea of objectification involves notions of instrumentality, denial of autonomy, inertness, fungibility, violability, ownership, and denial of subjectivity.

Equity and mercy
Article Abstract:
The judgment of evil should be accompanied by compassion so that offenders are not punished without mercy. An examination of Andrea Dworkin's 'Mercy' shows that Andrea, the narrator, has been continually harassed by men, and she loses her capacity for mercy, killing homeless drunk men. However, her view is radical and does not conform to the traditional philosophers' perspective that evil should be treated with gentleness.
