Something funny happened on the way to reform success: the case of budget reform implementation in Ghana
Article Abstract:
The effectiveness of the economic and financial management reforms implemented in Ghana is examined between 1998 and 2002. The progress on reforms faded after a good start. The reasons for such a deviation from anticipated course of reforms are analyzed.

Thailand's quest for results-focused budgeting
Article Abstract:
The reasons for failure of the performance based budgetary reforms implemented in Thailand are analyzed. Thailand attempted result-oriented budgetary reforms after it failed to succeed with other forms of budgetary reforms in late 1990s.
