The fragile victory of French ecologists
Article Abstract:
French ecologists have succeeded in electing eight candidates in parliament but their victory is clouded by the possibility of being derailed by business concerns, bureaucratic pragmatism and outdated vision of development. The precariousness of the green movement is also enhanced by an archaic conception of social management and powerful information networks that are controlled by French capitalists.
