Article Abstract:
The U.S. should consider following Europe's lead in engaging Iran in critical dialog to attempt to draw Iran back into international diplomacy. The U.S. appears to be further isolating itself from Iran by proposing legislation that would penalize third countries from conducting business with Iran. The American view of Iran as stubbornly dogmatic may be incorrect, as Iranian leadership has shown a recent willingness to accommodate international interests.
