A meta-analysis of psychoeducational programs for coronary heart disease patients
Article Abstract:
Meta-analysis applied to 37 studies of stress management and health education for coronary heart disease patients shows such programs reduced cardiac mortality and heart attack. Other positive results on distal and and proximal targets are discussed.

Improving adjustment to chronic illness through strategic self-preservation: an experimental study on a renal dialysis unit
Article Abstract:
Research suggests self-presentation of coping skills improves patient adjustment and fewer physical symptoms. Patients in a renal dialysis unit were surveyed at baseline, post intervention, and 1 month after baseline to collect this data.
