A rejection threshold in justice evaluations: effects on judgment and decision-making
Article Abstract:
An examination of the process through which justice evaluations are formed has confirmed the existence of a rejection threshold with regard to violations of just treatment, with a negative justice evaluation resulting when the number of violations exceeds the decision-maker's threshold. Another experiment on the differences in fairness evaluations operationalized as judgments vs decisions showed that both violations and nonviolations are equally important when making judgments about fairness. Nonviolations are considered only for fewer than three violations, when one has to decide based on considerations of fairness.

Decisions under time pressure: how time constraints affects risky decision making
Article Abstract:
Time constraint was shown to affect risky decision making by making subjects shift from a parallel process of evaluation to a bilinear process. Study also showed subjects using a multiplicative process in assessing the probability and amount of information in price ratings and an additive process when assessing attractiveness ratings under conditions of minimal time constraints. Increasing time constraints shifted the subjects' price ratings assessment process to the multiplicative mode.

The effects of time constraints on the prechoice screening of decision options
Article Abstract:
Two experiments were conducted to determine the effects of time constraints on decision-making. In the first experiment, subjects asked to screen and select job options under time constraints exhibited inconsistent rejection patterns. In the second experiment, fewer inconsistent rejection patterns were observed in subjects despite the time constraints when they were informed about the importance of their job choices.
