A reverse outcome bias: the influence of multiple reference points on the evaluation of outcomes and decisions
Article Abstract:
The effects of multiple reference points on the evaluation of outcomes and decisions is analyzed when these reference points provide contradicting information about the outcome. Results show that the alternative outcome is considered the reference point when it is percieved that another choice would result in the alternative outcome. Evaluations based on the alternative outcome are also counterintuitive.

The effects of experience and a decision aid on the slope, scatter, and bias of earnings forecasts
Article Abstract:
Forecasting accuracy can be improved by the joint effects of experience and a statistical decision aid. However, merely relying on a statistical aid will not provide the desired results. Results show that financial analysts and graduate business students who are more experienced in earnings forecasting had significantly higher accuracy and were more biased than undergraduate business students.

Is there a citation bias in the judgement and decision literature?
Article Abstract:
A study exploring the possibility of citation bias in decision science literature was conducted using citation rates obtained from the 'Social Science Citation Index'. A previous study maintained the existence of such a bias for poor judgement literature. A taxonimic classification constructed to determine the existence of the citation bias indicates the non-existence of such a bias.
