Adolescent help-seeking: what do they get help for and from whom?
Article Abstract:
Previous research shows that young people engaged in help-seeking behavior to cope with the various challenges brought on by adolescence. However, little research has been done to explain adolescents' help-seeking behavior. Moreover, research on help-seeking behavior among adolescents failed to consider the problems encountered by adolescents. To remedy this problem, help-seeking behavior in a group of school-aged adolescents is studied.

Behaviour problems and relationships with family and peers during adolescence
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on the relationship between characteristics of teenagers' social networks, personal resources and environmental risks and behavior problems in adolescence. The findings indicate that social support in family and peer group may serve as a risk factor or as a protective factor depending on other risk factors present. Moreover, there is a relationship between perceived conflict and behavior problems.
