Adjustment to multiple sclerosis: application of a stress and coping model
Article Abstract:
The author argues for factors that help multiple sclerosis patients cope with their condition. The stress and coping model used in this research showed social support, appraisal, and stressful life events were among the most important factors in adjustment.

Negative HIV-specific expectancies and AIDS-related bereavement as predictors of symptom onset in asymptomatic HIV-positive gay men
Article Abstract:
This article presents research on how bereavement and disease expectancies affected asymptomatic HIV-positive gay men. This study confirmed that negative HIV-specific expectancies combined with bereavement significantly predicted symptom onset.
