Patterns of interpersonal problems associated with binge eating disorder
Article Abstract:
An examination of the patterns of interpersonal problems experienced by individuals with binge eating disorder (BED) revealed that their associative problems are distinct as compared to those reported by other psychiatric patients. BED patients are observed to be less troubled by problems of vindictiveness. It was also noted that individuals with BED who have good eating disorder outcomes tend to be less distressed by problems with social avoidance than patients with poor outcome.
