Assessing the distinguishability of models and the informativeness of data
Article Abstract:
A difficulty in the development and testing of psychological models is that they are evaluated solely on their ability to fit experimental data is analyzed. The generality of the method and its relationship to the important notion of model complexity is discussed.

Memory retrieval given two independent cues: Cue selection or parallel access?
Article Abstract:
A comparison between two major classes of models, cue selection models and parallel models, is presented. A study exploring cued memory access in both animals and humans shows that performance improves as the number of available cues increases.
