Postcript on ability tests, testing, and public policy
Article Abstract:
Previous discussions on ability testing have clarified issues and answered questions most commonly raised regarding the field. Most of the propositions clearly indicate that ability tests are biased against certain groups, especially those which had limited opportunities for learning. Considering the serious consequences of testing on people's lives, scientists must take it upon themselves to set rigid ethical standards on the conduct of these tests.
